Subject: blanket or towel or something?

Has anyone come across a simple posable blanket or towel, or any basically flat object that can be wrapped around a character or object? It would be very handy I think :) Rawn

Well there is the venerable 'Cloth Strip' which could really stand to be remodeled. Then Traveler's Magic Sheet, which is mostly designed for beds. And a couple nice backdrop drapes, one by Bloodsong I think. And of course someone has made a conforming sheet for Vickie, you know wrapped around her for modesty. I've had good luck using Bryce's lattices - but it depends on the look you are going for. And LittleDragon will be along to fill in the ones I've forgottn.

And the Sheet at Rubio's Room.....haven't used it yet, so I'm not sure how completely it flattens when not on a model....?

more leads.... SergeMarck has a couple of elegant shawls, and there is another on his Long Dress 4 (his site is PoserFashion). There are a couple of carpets, oriental and otherwise in free stuff (one of them at PhilC's if you check out his Arabian set, it has wiggling morphs). Someone in the store here did a bath-sized towel wrapped around a character, probably Vicky. Search on "towel" ought to turn it up.

B.A.T_laboratory had a free conforming bath towel (for Posette, I believe) available at one time; the site has since been changed to a weekly download, so the towel isn't readily available.

awycoff has a cadaver prop with a draped sheet in Free Stuff.

Don't know if what you want is specific to a character or not and someone mentioned these a post or so up. On this page are towels from Phantom and that wrap around Vicki - one for the body and one for the hair. They work very well and are very affordable. I use them since they beat the heck out of trying to morph or magnet something to do this. But they are very specific in their purpose. Take care and be well. casamerica
