Hi, just thought I may show you some of my pics.

This one is scanned from a slide and messed up in photpaint. :)

Oh, and any comments are welcome of course,
especially the honest and cruel ones. :)

The top one is interesting archeturally. ( I expect the top to fall of and kill someone any moment. ) But naturally the second I like the best. I would get rid or the patch of brown grass on the right side of the image. It's fine but it detracts from the tress which I think is the best part of the picture. The top one....can you post it as it originally was taken? Bsteph

I like the calm mood of #2. I don't mind the clump of grass; think it balances things. Just my opinion.

I tend to agree with Misha on the second photo, it seemed to balance the pic for me a bit...beautiful calm water and reflections in that one Zardoz. The first is good the way the vertical format accentuates the height of the structure, I love the Bells, it would be interesting to hear them ringing! Nice pictures Z-man. :-)>

HI zardoz, I loved the second one as it really appealed to the senses for me. so soft and lovely.it would make a really good print .... :)

Lovely mood on the second pic. Definitely a keeper. :-) I like the subtle hues on the first one. (*

Thanks you all for the nice comments,

@Bsteph,
to be honest, the church was just a test-shot for this new
matrix-metering-feature on my new camera.
It looks quiet boring, so I tried to enhance it a bit in Photopaint.

I'm glad that you all like the second one.
Shooting landscapes is a neverending challenge for me and
there are very few pics that I would dare to show.
But this one is not too bad I guess.

cheers
Thomas

Not too bad LOL! It's beautiful, lovely mood & balance. I like your postwork on the first one, it seems to focus more on the architectural element, the strong light & colour in the original is a bit distracting.

I love the blues on this one. I think this image works, too, but very different in emphasis and mood. (*

hi, i can't make up my mind on 1 or 2....hmmmm ok...1....prefer the b&w pic to the colour version.

Pictures appear to me, I shoot them.   Elliot Erwitt
