Hi Whistler, keithw is correct. No Collision Detection in Poser and YES that would be very cool for Poser 5! Regards, Clint Hawkin-Z GraF-X Carrara, Ray Dream, Poser Figures and 3D Add-Ons.

from the dancing woman avi with her clothes i think the answer to collision detect in poser 5 is a definite yes; it definitely looks like they employed it in P5. Unless they took the dancing woman and imported her to Lightwave 7 (which i know has collision detect because i use it) and then send her back to poser but i dont think so because then why advertise the avi as a P5 unveiling if it isnt totally P5 created. i think P5 does have collision detect

As I recall, RayDream had a plug-in (or a utility, or whatever) which prevented one object from passing into space occupied by another. This feature was tremendously helpful in avoiding embarrassing mistakes. It was called a Collision something-or-other, I believe. If there is ANY program that needs such a feature, it's Poser! Is anyone aware if Poser has this capability? If it doesn't, wouldn't it be an excellent feature for Poser 5?
