Ok - Straight from the One List for Carrara here is the message as sent out by Steve Y at MetaCreations. "From: steve_y@metacreations.com The Carrara 1.1 updaters are available for Mac and Windows on the files section of the Onelist/Carrara site. There's no readme with them but it should be posted on the MetaCreations site soon. The patches are not on the official MC site yet but I wanted the list members to have them as soon as they were done. If I get the readme finished before then, I'll add it to the same list of files. There's not much to tell except for the bug fixes. Just double click and locate the proper Carrara executable to install. I'd like to thank the beta testers for helping out not only on the release but on the patch also. Thanks" Rock on! Clint

This isn't the official patch and you have to join the Carrara List on OneList to get it. Get it HERE once you join. -JH.

Thanks for the info, I DL'ed the patch and it seems to have worked. I can actually render a scene without a crash under MAC OS 8.1. Have only used it for about 20 min but so far, so good.

Jeff, Thats not the way I read Steves message at all. He states that the reason its not at the MC site yet because he "wanted the list members to have them as soon as they were done". He says its done right there so I would assume its not a Beta..?? (shrugs) I dont know. Looks official to me. Were there some message theads on the One List that I missed pointing this out? Confused Clint. ;)

I read it that he will put it up on the MC site once the readme is complete. I guess he figures the Onelisters can figure out how to install it without the readme! Jeff

only 852k? Did I download the right thing? My Poser Patch was over 8mb's. If Carrara's even more buggy this seems odd. :) Well, time to install it and see what happens. :)

You need to become a member for the Carrara one list section. Did you sign up on the One List site? Clint

Hmm..Go to www.onelist.com and enter into the Carrara group. Then go into the files section. The patches are in there. Here is the direct link to the PC patch: http://www.onelist.com/files/Carrara/Carrara101Updater.exe and to the MAC patch: http://www.onelist.com/files/Carrara/carrara1.1.sit I just tested the download at One List and the patch DL'ed OK.
