According to a recent press release from Curious Labs, the new Poser upgrade prices will be $539.00 for current Poser 4 users, and $519.00 for Poser 4/Pro Pack users.

I was at Siggraph this afternoon and spoke with them and the upgrade price will be very reasonable. There are going to be two prices depending upon whether you have Pro Pack already or not. I think that is fair since the Pro Pac folks already shelled out more money. So dont go mortgaging the house or selling the kids just yet. I don't want to quote a price, but I found it to not make my hair stand on end even though I only have Poser4.

Okay, I give: it's $495.00, isn't it?

For jerr3d: I only had time to visit some of the exhibits and not much else due to work and stuff, but some of the demos on large screens were amazing. There is a new ZBrush version just about out and DeepPaint has some amazing new UVMapping addons. I just wish I had tons of disposable income to get more toys.
