o.k. be gental this is Drizzt my first attempt at making my own figure. Im working on some clothes for him (cloak etc.)but I think thats the hardest part. How do I make a trans map for the hair? thanks for any help:0)

You'll need to UV map the hair and create a template (Steve Cox's UVMapper - link on the right if you haven't already got it). Then it's "simply" a case of creating the transparency map for the hair - black (RGB 000) where the map is transparent and white where it's solid. Take a look at the maps for Nene and Allie's transmapped curls to see how it's done. Paul

Just a suggestion... If I remember right, Drizzt was a rather dour, tormented character. The smile seems out of place... Also, since he is a TSR Drow Elf, you may want to thin him some. The definition is good, but he just looks to bulky. Looks like a good start though... Fascinating character, huh? Always liked the Dark Tormented Hero types.

Drizzt's not always tormented and unhappy, but I do agree that the smile doesn't quite look right on him here. He does need to be slimmed down quite a bit, and the skullcap should be a bit wider... take a look at the book covers for the right idea. It's a good start.. keep us updated. =) Rosh
