Symmetry in Poser only works on the joint settings, it won't affect any morphs. You can try using MTMirrorII (see link) sometimes this will work, though it's a little rough. Regards- LemurtekIf you've made a morph for one side with a magnet, you can fairly easily create a mirrorred morph for the other side: - create a second magnet - select a magnet component (magnet zone, magnet base and magnet, each in turn) - copy (Control-C or Command-C) - then select the corresponding component for the second magnet - paste (Control-V or Command-V) - you will have to set the negative value for some of the settings (like xtrans=0.003 instead of xtrans=-0.003) maybe a rotation, too - however, if the magnet zones overlap in the middle, you may have to move them apart a bit or make them smaller to avoid a bump or depression HTH, Elisa/gryffnn
Thanks gryffnn. I did not word my question very well. What I was asking about was using symmetry when posing a figure. I have already made morphs for the figure, for the right and left side. Most of the time, you can set one side up and then do symmetry, right to left to make the left side match. This does not work with custom morphs, even when the morphs on the left side are name the same, do the same as the morphs on the right side. I was hoping there was a way to hack the cr2 to make Poser recognize the morphs like it does the other dials and deal with them the same. Rob
Ahhh, I misunderstood. Well, symmetry still doesn't with morphs, however, since you have made morphs for each side, you can make a full body morph. It's not as easy to set up as symmetry is, but once set up it's easy to use. Say you want to have a clown hand morph, you would load in the morph target for each hand, set it to 1, then use the make full body morph from the Figure menu. Now set the left and right hand morph back to zero, and then you can use the full body morph to morph both hands at once. Regards- Lemurtek
Here is a sneak peek at something I have been working on. A poseable bikini top and bottom. The little ball looking thingie is the top folded up in one of the many positions it can be posed. Both are fully comforable, though some limits (of removeablity) do exists when used as a conforming garment. My "Passion" picture in the Gallery is another render of the top in use.
Often when posing the top, symmetry (if it worked) would come in handy since you can pose one side and then apply it to the other. Pose files work, and I use those, but you could end up with an endless combination. Copy and paste seems to be the best solution. In the example shown here, I set the morphs on one side, and copy and pasted them to the other. This saved having to tweak all the dials agian.

Does symmetry work on custom morphs? I added morphs for the right and left side of a figure, they have the same name, do the same thing, etc., but when I use the symmetry right to left (vise-versa) it has no effect on the morphs. Is there a way to make this work?
