These are special versions of Mike & Vicky. They only contain facial expression morphs (no body morphs!). These special characters are useful for many purposes. 1.) Use them to create your own Facial Expressions and Pose Libraries. You won't worry about any body morphs messing up your work. 2.) If you create new characters with morphs, you can copy the new morphs to these blank characters. 3.) You can use transfer morphs to these characters and eliminate Crosstalk. (See my crosstalk tutorial.)

Now that I've uploaded mine, I noticed that Runtime DNA's ironbear has posted empty cr2's for what appears to be all the major Poser figures. You might want to download the runtime stuff. I don't go there every day, or I would have noticed. I'm frankly surprised it took this long for anyone to offer these empty cr2's. I'm amazed at how many experts recommend that all of us do this stuff the hard way, over and over and over. ![Message671422.jpg](http://www.renderosity.com/photos/Message671422.jpg)

Nice Ron - looks like we had the same idea. Much needed items. ;] shrug I'm kind of surprised on that also... I've always used stripped cr2's with no morphs for pose design, and initial scene design and clothes testing - ever since a long time ago I started seeing morphs "stick" in poses even when I hit "no" on the "Save morph info in pose?" dialog. Maybe it's just so simple that it never occured to anyone to post them? Who knows... I know I'm hampered a bit by lack of webspace for hosting downloads. RDNA hosting the freebies finally gave me an opprotunity to start to post some of the odds and ends I've assembled without having to eat monthly bandwidth costs. PS: the second zip over there also contains almost 70 Mat pose file templates and mat files for changing skin tones and other items on Mike & Vicki, as well as setups for subdividing mats and other stuff. I'm going to do a set of partial pose templates next, and also a second collection of "useful" mats for posette, dork and eve in the next two sets. DOn't hold breath though - I work slow.

Er.. mine are a touch different than Ron's. Mine have all the facial morphs stripped also. Might want to grab Ron's and have both sets if you need stripped cr2's for doing facial expressions.

Ironbear, your stuff looks absolutely fabulous. You're very kind to provide those freebies. Yes, my blanks do include facial morphs. But they are only Mike 1 & Vicky 1 facial morphs. And I only included morphs for facial expressions. You can't make their faces into cat faces, etc. I did this for several reasons. I don't want to distribute any Mike 2 or Vicky 2 morphs for obvious copyright concerns. I didn't want to scroll through all the extra stuff when I want Mike or Vicky to smile. I may release some new blanks featuring all the Mike 2 and Vicky 2 face morphs (no body morphs). If I do that, I'll encode the blanks so you must prove you have Mike 2 & Vicky 2 before you can use them. Right now it's "Housepainting Time," and I'm not spending so much time on the computer. Yeah.... I didn't think about it, because I don't use facial morphs a lot in my pose design cr2's. I have a different set of blanks for scene design with just facial expression morphs, and a limited number of body morphs... I spawn my character morph and tranfer it to the "blank" via morph manager. Saves me from having to work with multiple 55mb and 40mb Mike2's and Vick2's in a image scene. A lot of times, by the time I finish adding clothes, props, textures, reflection mapping, lights, and scenery... I can hit a 170+ meg pz3 file with only 3 - 4 character without straining hard. ;] Same file with a full mike2 or vicki2 would go 300+ megs easily - too much for my computer to deal with.
