Subject: A New Picture and Question

I call this picture "Texas Flood." My question is about depth of field. I don't get it. I want the mountains to be slightly blured.

You'll have to fiddle with the haze&mist settings,keep in mind that mountains are large so make 'm large and put them well back. It's very hard to get that distant look if your mountain is placed in the backyard.

Agree with hein. Just make them enormous and put them very far back:-). No need to use motion blur. :-)Guitta

I like the picture, and I agree about the mountains. Push them right back, enlarge them a bit, and introduce some haze. I would find that more realistic than introducing blur. sig6.gif

I think the mountains have been covered :) The water looks very good, and the snake is top notch. You may want to change the horse...a drowned horse would not float on its back with its leg straight up in the air like that and I think its seriously distracting from the rest of the scene.
