Just wanted to blkow my own horn. My image The Last Tree has been picked to be the cover art for Sci Fi Weekly. It's not the image I would have chosen, but it's their magazine.

Does that mean money?

Right on Boney! , I won BurninghamStudios image contest and am recieving one of their cds for free. What's their [Sci-fi Weekly] website?

Congratulation, where can we see that pic of yours?

No, they don't pay, but it's good exposure, being connected as it is with the Sci Fi Channel. Now if i can only find some help and get a way to survive so I can work it. They tell me the image should be up by Tuesday, and the URL for Sci Fi Weekly is http://www.scifi.com/sfw/issue149/index.html And as far as the image, it's posted somewhere in the gallery, and is also in the wallpaper pages on my Sci Fi magazine site at http://users2.50megs.com/bone

Because I'm such a nice guy, awwww, I told Brooks Peck, the art editor for Sci Fi Weekly to check out Renderosity and some of the artists here. Their covers have been heavy on spaceships, and I think he could find a much better selection to choose from here, and hey, it could get some of the artists here some good exposure. Once a pic is used in the cover, it's put into the archive and stays there, and a link to whatever home page you like is also posted with the pic. It's not money, but it is seen by a LOT of people.

Just looked at the pic. It's cool. And congrats, buddy. I think somewhere down inside, that's what we're all hoping for.

http://www.scifi.com/sfw/issue150/index.html The pic is up and looks good. Personally, i would have picked a different one of my images, but hey, he's the editor lol. Either way I get the exposure, which is nice.

Congratulations! I love the pictures for the different pages, though they are a bit slow to load, even with a cable modem.
