Well, I kinda goofed when I originally joined R'osity, and now it's starting to bug me. The case is, I joined using ernyoka, then forgot/misplaced my password, so I made a new called ernyoka1. Anyway... Most places on the net (at least nowadays) I'm known as TrekkieGrrrl and all my free stuff are "signed" TrekkieGrrrl. But if people make a search for TrekkieGrrrl they won't find a thing, and that's a shame, isn't it? ;o) So I really want to ask one of the mods if it's possible to change "ernyoka1" into "TrekkieGrrrl"? Or do I have to make a new identity and re-upload all the 53 Free Stuff items again under a new name??? Please no.....

I've seen people make such requests in the Forum News http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?ForumID=12375 or the Community Ideas Forum http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?ForumID=12375 Or even faster, you could just go to Who'sOnline http://www.renderosity.com/whosonline.ez and IM any Admin to find out the best way to do it. Jaha, jag hade en ksla av ni var samma person :o] Hope you can fix it. I always use the same name in all situations, always have - it's a drag having more than one ID. Hope it works out. :] FishNose

I sent an e-mail to admins@Renderosity.com a couple days ago asking this very same question and got a quick reply from audre :)

But they are holding off doing any username changes while they are doing major database clean-ups :(

audre said to ask again in a month or so. Hopefully they will be done tearing up the place by then hehe

Couldn't you just create another account?

If she creates another account, she can't access her current stuff. The admins doing the name change can link the current stuff to her new name. You could always ask if you can create the new name now and have the old stuff linked to you later. I was wondering why you weren't TrekkieGrrrl to begn with ...

Crescent hit the spot, it's coz of all my current stuff. And the name. Well, I've been Ern Yoka for several years, but only in Star Trek related sites (well mostly) and when I first saw Renderosity, I didn't know I was going to neither stay nor start making things for download, I just took the name I knew best G to be able to remember it.

There is another problem I've found with usernames and logins. I used to be "Terminus Nord" when Renderosity first began, and my old free stuff items and gallery pictures are all under that ID. But.. I forgot my old password and had to create the new account "terminusnord" because my email address also changed. The board can email my old password, but only to my old account, with my old ISP, which no longer exists. There is no way for me to get my old account's password emailed to my new address, thus I'm disconnected from my old identity and my old works. I've emailed the admins asking if they could send me my old password, and I got no reply. -Adam

terminus, That's sounds really annoying. Perhaps you should ask Spike about it? if you can prove that it is really you (don't ask me. Maybe IP addresses or something?) then SPike might be able to give your account back. But like I said, talk to the man. Ernyoki, the people to ask are Spike and Audre, but like Sasha said the admins are holding off on stuff while the programmer is rwriting the lawas of physics around here.
