Um. Here? :) The others have mostly gone subscription or folded. Would help if you mentioned a theme - most of the smaller sites are specialists

I've been through the Poser free stuff, here, once or twice over. No, theme especially, just characters to look at, DL, and poke at. I have my list of smaller specialists, but am looking for something else to sink my teeth into. My host machine is'nt completed yet, so I hav'nt had the oppurtunity to put one up myself. I know of RDNA, 3DCommune, and 3DBuzz, but that is all for quality Poser stuff. There really are'nt many communities out there. I only have a broadband connection for now, but I plan to offer hotlinked: free stuff, tutorials, a gallery, and also few forums, and a marketplace. I'm really looking forwrd to it. Rigth now I'm surfing for characters to study! = )

The first one that comes to mind is planit3d. I haven't been there for a while, though. I like it here. - TJ

Well PropsGuild and PoserWorld/FairyWood had lots - but they're both subscription now. Mostly sites will have 2 or three characters. Thorneworks has had 13 Caleneder fairies, only one of which is currently available. I myself have four characters for DL - all male. (www.cyclopsstudio.com) Are you more interested in looking at exisiting-character based characters, mutations of existing characters, or new creations?

Thanks you all very much, I must have Dl'd over a dozen new characters! I've been in touch with Mr.X, the author of Morph Manager, and have offered him a $20 donation, for the advanced release of V4.01, which should include include a "Copy All Character/Body MTs Function." I should be sending it out this weekend? = )
