I suddenly found myself looking at a b&w render screen - don't know what happened. Also found the tir. I'd like u gang to hlp me with the optimal render settings so this never accures again. Tnx so much

first thing that pops into my head is you might have the object mask render checked.

Or Distance Mask or Elevation Mask, but like FWT said, it's probably a mask. I don't think Bryce can even do a grayscale render, can it?

In the manual it says something about masks only rendering in b&W. Check out the explanations of the various render options in the manual.
