Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Dec 22 10:18 pm)
Not quite got THAT problem. Eldest daughter (15) comes in when I am on poser, looks over my shoulder and says 'ugh', 'hmph' or some other uninteligable noise which passes for words with teenagers. Youngest daughter (11) comes in, leans on my shoulder and makes encourageing remarks before wandering off twisting her forefinger in the vicinity of her temple. 'Sigh' No, I'm afraid my kids are much too interested in music, makeup and mind-numbing computer games to even think about doing anything creative. Jack
I have to take a number and stand in line to get quality "Poser" time! My oldest (19) caught me working on an image and since the first "Hey! Can I try that?" between him and my daughter (15) I just gaze at my 'puter from afar...sigh... Always save your PZ3 files before you go to the bathroom!!! The kids will swipe your seat and say sheepishly upon your return, "I was just looking at the new clothes for Vickie..." Must build second PC...... ;-)
My daughter is nine and we did was Momcat suggested: bought us a new puter and gave the old one (haha...old one...1 GHz, 60 GB harddrive, DVD etc... ) to her. She loves Avatar Lab at the moment and I promised to give her Poser4 as soon as I have P5 :-).

I donated an elderly pc to my grandkids, they still thank granma has better programmes, but don't have the power to run them, so when they visit its " Granma can we use tyour puter" Even the new one at 2 years old sits on daddies lap and presses buttons.
The greatest part of wisdom is learning to developĀ the ineffable genius of extracting the "neither here nor there" out of any situation...."

Am I the only one here who has to fight off the kids to get any time with poser? Do your kids love poser as much as you? My kids have given me a great long list of things they want to do with poser including their own comic. Rob
