any suggestions on how to keep the dragon from looking so shiney? i'm missing the bum map for it didnt seem to be in the zip i dont know if that would make any differance or not

heya; in poser? in the dragon's materials, change the highlight colour to black, or a dark colour; that will get rid of the bright highlights. you might try using that texture map as a bump map also, it looks like it would work out fine.

Ouch! I'm worried about her sitting on those scales. Besides, she might slide off. Melanie

If your only doing a pic you can also use photoshop or paint shop pro to get rid of it, and while your at it had a bit of texture to your dragons teeth, horns and claws, some vapor coming out of the nostrils, and a thousand of other little details. If its an animation, better use bloodsong's way, its faster. Nice Background!

hmm i wonder if they make saddles for dragons hehe good point melanie by the look on her face i think shes haveing a hard time withe the scales i'm planning on adding clothes eventualy but i wanna make that the last thing i do on it. yeah i'm hopeing to make it into an animation theres a nice river in between the mountian ranges there would be great for flight i would think just wish bryce wasnt so stubborn on animations. oh and does anyone know can i link 2 avi's together say i do the motion of the dragon in poser could i add it to an avi of the background moving in bryce? so i can have both items moving at the same time? being new at things is so great :o)

Love the background Nin. If you have a photoediting program you can make a copy of the texture map and desaturate it (Black and White). This will be the bump map. I am also worried about her falling off! The odd looking leg joints are a poser artifact-perhaps the clothes will help with that. Tallyho! Eric Walters

You might want to get her to sit "sidesaddle" - that would eliminate the joint problems at the knee. Also, her hands are vanishing into the dragon's back. If there is a saddle prop anywhere (I don't know of one off hand), you could adapt this to fit your dragon and give her somewhere comfortable to sit. Paul

actually her hands are curled up in a lose fist type of thing grabing on to a scale i imagine hmm i think some sort of tapestry would look better than an actuall saddle now that i think of it gotta remember that one something like a clothe coat of arms perhaps i do like the side saddle idea hmm maybe perhaps a new sport dragon surfing? hehe ok well thanx for the ideas its back to work now and thank you for the background compliment :o)
