Hey Everyone!!! I hear from time to time about mags that people read. I actually don't buy any...now... Any recommendations on a solid Mag??? CAT

I re-subscribed to 3D World Magazine and it's pretty good. They tend to cater to the higher end programs though, especially lately. So my new favorite is Renderosity. :)

I'd say Renderosity :) Seriously - great print quality, great variety of topics/programs, cool stuff on the CD. AND you can come here and ask the authors questions - isn't that cool? Aside from the fact that I have an article in Issue 2 :) 3Dworld mag is also good - but frankly I haven't bothered much with magazines since I've been at Rosity - much easier to just go bug people in the forums :)

Just subscribed last month to 'MacAddict' and can't wait for the first issue! Of course it's for Macs. Generally, 'Computer Art' is good and frequently has a bunch of neat stuff on a CD that comes with it. That's how my Poser addiction started.......sigh. 3DCommune sends me their mag now, but it can't hold a candle to our own Renderosity magazine!! Guess that's all I've read so far....learned lots, though.

Digit is also good with plenty of freebes and tuts for each, but I'll also put my vote in for Renderosity both the mag and the site.

3DWorld and the Rendo mag are about the best I think.

I like 3D World. There used to be a free magazine called 3D that was fantastic, but they just couldn't keep it going
