Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 24 6:22 pm)
Mithc, You may be able to work in "Poser 4" feature mode, and I hope that to be the case as well. We are testing the version issues that arise from PP Plug-ins looking for a newer version of the Poser executable (Poser Pro Pack enhanced versus Poser 5 versions). Most likely though, it's a matter of us updating the plug-in's underlying version checker code to work with a newer rev. But this would still require an updater, and our testing of that updater prior to public release. It's at the top of the list, right next to a Mac release. Kupa

This is what it says in Curious Labs website about Poser 5 and the Pro Pak: >>The Poser Pro Pack plug-ins are not currently updated to work with Poser 5. The plug-ins will be updated to work with Poser 5, but some high level functionality found in Poser 5 will not be enabled to the 3rd party host application. Poser 5 incorporates all the features of Pro Pack except for the plug-ins. Full details on the update to the plug-ins and its projected delivery schedule will be available soon.>> Now my question is, will Poser 5 include the plugins at least as they are right now so users of Poser 5 working on scenes that don't include the new functionality (dynamic clothing and hair etc.) can communicate with their 3D software of choice?
