Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 10 1:16 pm)
Does it say no body morphs? Or does it merely touch on the high points? The information on the website fills in several gaps, but can't possibly cover everything. That is what manuals are for! Anyway, Steve has mentioned the number of polygons. He has provided a picture of the texture map as well as a couple of renderings of the nude male. I have seen the female. She is quite nice. I did not ask about children or animals, because the thrust of our conversation was hair and not how many of what will be included. Remember that Steve said "backwards compatible". If they had gone with nurbs, nothing in this new program would work with anything from the old program, would it? They've walked a fine line of improving and upgrading without completely abandoning tens of thousands of people who have spent small fortunes on models and textures. Carolly
I find it odd that so far CL has been very quiet about the figures. I was hoping that we would see soft-body dynamics, gravity and inertia similar to the cloth and hair but so far no mention. Even something similar to that PAE utility that added these effects would suffice. Obviously if it hasnt got these now it
s way too late. When`s the Poser 6 wishlist due to start?
The above comment was in response to Keldereks entirely sensible comment. I was hoping that Kupa (when he comes back next) or someone would jump in and say "of course there
s body dynamics, dont be silly". As for Schlabber
s comments, I seem to have skipped a step being already at the drooling stage. (Wipes chin)
