Arrgg...it is unfortunate that Patricia's picture "The Port of Atlantis--Dawn" did not make it into the challenge this month. When a midnight deadline happens it's usually going to happen at midnight my time (Los Angeles). I'm sorry Patricia's art got left out. Patricia, Art can't be rushed rather it flows from the mind or the heart at its own speed to the canvas by some magical means which every artist has to discover for themselves. You have discovered the means for this expression - the speed at which you express yourself is not as important as the fact that you do express yourself as you have here. Well, California is the last contiguious state to see midnight so that's ok to use your time. I love the image. Hope to see more entries from Patricia. Sometimes its tough to get an image done in the time we have, cuz at least a week is lost to voting and deciding what the new challenge will be, but that's also a good challenge in and of itself (challenge against time). When the challenge thing started, it was an idea to sharpen the skills and hone our ability with the program and the monthly deal does just that. I often rework my entries for the portfolio. Good job and hope to see Patricia next time.
