You also need to own the Michael Clothing Pack 2 for the Bodysuit in general, and both MCP's for the entire Morphing Clothing Pack to work. But Deep paint is probably the only way to accurately texture the darn bodysuit without the remapping done at Animotions ((BTW, any Mods or Admins reading this, I say we nominate Little Dragon for "Tour Guide/Resource Locator"!))
Remember, kids! Napalm is Nature's Toothpaste!

Both the Mike and Victoria bodysuits are available at Daz3d.com. The Mike version is in the Mike Clothing Pack2 which runs about $30. Victoria's is in the Victoria Clothing Pack. Then if you're making muscle bound heroes, you'll want to think about investing in tailor, or the Morphing versions of the suits, or see if you can find morphed conversions for free. (not sure if those are still out there?)
Mike's bodysuit is difficult to map, so you may want to use the re-mapped version, or re-map it yourself. (Re-mapped is at Animotions.com or just use www.uvmapper.com and do the mapping)
Using the Spandex Morphs in Mike2 and Vicki2 is great, but there are a couple limitations, depending ont your costume design... if you want to show anything tranparent on the clothing layer... then you're better off with the actual bodysuit, but if you're going for a full coverage, then the Spandex morphs are great.
Animotions.com has the most superhero related files for poser, since it brought over most of the library it had when it was the 3d Comic Collective. The site is free. Some folks have had problems with the login.
Another tip is to go through the galleries and compare what you're looking to achieve with what someone may have already accommplished... you can learn a lot from others here.
As far as utility belts... I have a few up my sleeve... I just released one to the free stuff yesterday for Victoria. I have three more to release.
I also have some SuperHero related files for sale... check out my product page for more information.
I've made a few files myself... well about 70... so feel free to ask away.
Doug Sturk
I came, I rendered, I'm still broke.
Doug is one of the "Masters of Poser and Poser super heroes." If you want to see some great examples of what can be done, check out sturkwurks galleries. Also Maximum Impact is fantastic. I don't check out the comics scene much any more, so I forget the names of some of the other masters. I'm sure Doug and others can chime in.
Thanks for all the help guys, I have been going to the animotions site for awhile and checking stuff out but their forums seem dead. Other than that, I've checked out alot your models Sturk, I also liked some of the remapped textures that Maximum Impact did... I want to make a couple high detailed photorealistic superheros... I'm going to use my own textures, photos, and try to do most of it in Photoshop and Deep Paint... Thanks again....hopefully I will have some stuff done in a few weeks that I can post...
My morphing version, including the remap used by the one at animotions, is still available from RuntimeDNA freestuff (Daz said it was OK in the midst of that firestorm about it). Look for the "Special Edition" because it has more morphs and extras than the original. Either way, do get the remap...the Daz mapping is brutal!
I downloaded the Sci Fi Guy morphing bodysuit from Runtime DNA but it didn't say if it was the special edition one or not, it's the only one i noticed though...how would i know if it was the special edition? Also, how can I lower the amount of wrinkles across the chest muscles, i put pretty good sized chest muscles on my morph and it seems to look really wrinkly inbetween them which could be annoying if i put a superhero emblem there... (Is there any easy way to render one that I can attach to the suit someway? I dont really know much about modeling, but lets say I wanted to attach a bat symbol or superman S and I wanted it to look like its a raised material off of the suit, can i make a simple 3d shape of it and add depth and somehow make it attach to the suit so it will bend with the poses? How would u recommend that I do the speedos? Should i just change the color on that particular polygon group or should i use a seperate speedos object?
RDNA's freestuff can be daunting to go through because there's no way to search it :) The special edition includes several Mike faces and more than twice as many morphs...if you didn't get faces, you got the old version. I forgot though that its still live from my freestuff page here! Click my username and visit my freestuff page and you can get the updated zip. The wrinkles are folds in the model. You can try using (shudder) magnets to smooth them I suppose. If a smooth chest is a must using Mike without a body suit may be better for your situation. You can distribute any textures you create yourself free or for sale, unless its a copyrighted characters suit or something. You can't sell a Superman outfit but they won't freak out if you give one away for other fans to use.

I'm pretty new to Poser and I have been experimenting a little bit with Deep Paint 3d lately, what I'm wondering is, what would be the best method or best resource for creating Superhero (comicbook) style costumes for the Daz's Michael? I have read about Michaels Morphing Body Suit but I cant seem to find it anywhere, not even on the DAZ 3D site... Is there anything similar to this or does anyone know where I can find this model? I am also looking for a decent generic utility belt that I could use for characters such as the Punisher or Batman.... Thanks....
