Hi just wanted to know if Kpt6 could be instaled in other programs then photo editors. I just got it, and am having lotsa fun with it. I'm like a lill kid in a candy store. But is there a way to dump it in bryce4 without installing it in two spots? Also as anybody ever seen the BryceHog. It is by FAR the greatest bryce model I have ever seen, for those of you who haven't seen it, check it out. I learned alot from this tutorial. visualmagic.awn.com/images/tutorials/brycehog.jpg

You can use KPT6 in any program that uses Photoshop compliant filters. This means Paint Shop Pro, and I'm sure there are a few others. As far as installing it in Bryce. I suspect it has to be installed in the plugins directory there. I've never tried so i don't really know

Go into your material lab (click on the M for the selection), enter the pic library (put 'marble' in the first column to bring up that dialog box), then when in the pic library, click on the far right upper triangle (you can do this from terrain library also) and then find your plug in folder for KPT6. KPT3 is already included in Bryce. My plugin folder is in PSP6, so to use KPT5, I browsed to that (could use any or all of my plugins). Then when you have the pic (or terrain) you wish to use your filter on in your 3 squares, click on the triangle, choose your filter. Diane B

I also meant to say you don't have to 'install', just select the folder where the plugin is at the present. KPT3 is included in Bryce so that should already be there, but the ability to use any filter on your pics or terrains is very nice. Diane B
