Artistically excellent; historically I'm not sure. That looks like a royal head-dress, and I doubt a mamluk (eunuch slave warrior) would be allowed one, and I think the Egyptians used shorter bows. Still, I like it - especially the background. Did you put a bump on the square or is that just depth from the original image?
Like it. He looks like someone I used to work with-although they did not often dress that way! Did you model the sarcophagus ( wrong spelling?)? Or should I say "Posercarphagous"? Very well done! Can you post it? IF you want suggestions read on-feel free to ignore-just my thoughts on it! I would change the belt-looks too modern-also looks like the shadow does not go over the sarcophagous I would think the ambient diffuse light from all that gold would lighten the shadow. What if you set the shadow value to 0.4 or so to lighten the shadows and reveal the wall slightly? Great stuff! Eric Walters
