Im apoligizing in advance, I know this question has prob been posted a million times, but does anyone know if Poser 5 is out yet or when the release date is? Im at work now so I have to keep my internet usage to a minimal, I didnt have time to search the boards. Thanks in advance. P.S. is it worth the money, I have 4.0 and the propack now?

run to www.curiouslabs.com now, all the questions you could think of asking are answered there, well all except the release date. Rob

you know whats funny, i was just reading a computer shopping magazine (kinda like an office max), and they say you can order it already

yeah they're all doing it, but when you try they say it's not available yet, with any luck it will be with us by the end of September, & the various prices are unbelievably low Rob

I saw in another thread that there are retailers who are taking orders on Poser 5, and according to CL it's OK for them to do so. They can't give a release date, though, they know as much as we know about that...

All the web site says is "late summer" so that would probably mean that they want to have it out by mid September. I keep going back to the site and rereading the new features, and hey they have even changed some of the pictures for it too. At any rate, I've said this in many threads on the subject before, it's better that CL works out any bugs or problems with the manual now instead of us having crashes and other bad stuff. In this case patience is definiately a virtue, so everyone just hang in there.

couldn't agree more Tomsde, it'll be done when it's done right. Rob

It always say late summer, did it say the US? May be the date is late summer of Australia, that's jan 2003 :P

c1rcle ( ) posted Sat, 10 August 2002 at 12:46 PM

well I'd better get my elephant gun out of storage then ;) Rob

Charlie_Tuna ( ) posted Sat, 10 August 2002 at 9:18 PM

triceratops2001, since CL is a US based company it's Late summer' US ;-) BTW, P5 will be out no later than Sept 21 because fall starts the next day, in this half of the world anyway, that would be the first day of spring for you chaps 'down under' wouldn't it?

Why shouldn't speech be free? Very little of it is worth anything.
