Its a case of how far do I go? Have to stop somewhere I guess. As you can see I've added two "commoners" in the background.

I've designed these figures so that they can take any head. Poser 3, Poser 4 .... Poser 5? I may set them up with a head of my own and give the rest as an option. Would value your thoughts on this. Its not unreasonable to get into the mind set that everything MUST be conforming but there are other ways of doing things. Your comments would be most appreciated.

Wow! What an astounding collection! Your Queen Elizabeth head is a stitch! :-) Amazing work!! -dg

The outfits are really nice, but if it relies on head switching, then there won't be any body shape differentiation: no muscular people, no fat people, just a univeral thinness. Now, if P5's collision detection can work with these figures, that won't be a concern and I'll snap them up in a heartbeat, but until then, it's an issue for me.

I agree with Crescent... since I do alot of commercial renders (Character sketches) for people who do roleplaying games, I need the ability to adjust the bodies to the clients' demands. Sigh. That's one of the reasons I never use the Cacheforce stuff, even though I bought the entire collection. Great work though. Phil! You did a phenomenal on them!

Good points.

"then there won't be any body shape differentiation"

err why not? Now remember these are Elizabethan figures and generally the ladies refrained from stuffing cantaloupes down their blouses. The men's costumes accentuated a narrow waist and for some reason that eludes me, the calf of the leg. But that said, why cant the body shapes be altered?

As for Poser 5 .... gotta wait and see ;)

These look very good. Looks like you have put a LOT of work into them. Beth

These are incredible Phil! The head-switching - I think it's an exciting option. To be able to use the characters with a Millennium figure head for close ups is terrific, but I think if you provide each with a basic head with a few morphs, a lot more folks could use it right out of the zip. I'd really like to see a youth or child-size morph for most of them as well. Would your basic heads take P4 textures? As far as the selection - I'd personally like to see more lower and middle class figures to more reflect a real cross-section of the population, but then you'd have to have hundreds of middle-class and thousands of peasants for every noble! LOL As you say, you've got to stop somewhere, and as it is, it's already an incredible selection. Whenever you feel it's complete, I'll buy it within moments of seeing it available! Cheers!

Very impressive! If you're thinking of continuing the theme, how about John Dee or members of the clergy (the Baby-Eating Bishop of Bath)?

Not finished, still adding boat loads of morphs and without a texture but here is the head I propose to use.

What's the ETA? If I can have a range of body shapes, then I'm a happy camper. I'm in the anti-watermelon brigade, personally, so I don't need 267 different breast morphs. ;-)
