Deleting the poser4 'Runtime Folder' ..... desperate times , need desperate measures well one day i needed space on my hd.. and i had poser4 which was 1.3 gig in size 0.0 !! and i never used the default characters, poses, lights ect... soo i highlighted runtime and hit Delete! ..well this removed 95% of the program and gave me back 1.2 gig space ;) soo then i reinstalled 'Viki and stuff that I only wanted ie.. vikiposes ..lights ..mat files ect... , then i ran the program ..it died..oops!!... Soo to fixit all i did was Reinstall the pro-pack ... Works perfectly now except with this error "cant find Default ground texture.tif'' ..soo i have no deafault chractors, poses...and lots more space to install my goodies :) ...btw ..id only recommentd doing this if ......a, your mad,... b, you have Backups of everything! .. c, your desperate! and ...d, your drunk ... ;P ( also be a good idea to backup your ground texture.tiff ;) ... and now i need a coffee...Cheers ...

just go to a paint program.. create a 1x1 pixel image and name it ground texture.tif and viola fixes the problem S Though I wouldn;t do what you did S

I went mad some time ago and did the same. You will also need to keep the "blendoman" from Poser 4 Lo geometries file if you wish to use the walk designer.

1.3 gig? You consider that a problem? My Runtime folder is currently 4.5 gigs, during this weekend I've removed more than 1.5 gigs stuff from there. And guess what? There are lots of people here who have a Runtime folder that's over 10 gigs ;)

4.3 gigs for me, and I still haven't installed alot of the stuff from before my hard drive change. (I bought a 40 gigger so I don't have to worry about space for poser) before discovering poser I thought that I would never fill a 15 gig hard drive. total used space now? 14.7 gig.

Before I deleated my runtime folder for yet another clean install earlier this week...13 gigs. Our drive is 15.2, can't bloody render with 2.2 gigs freespace! Shhh, don't tell my partner, lol Have it down to a managable gig again...for now.
