Subject: Exporting Objects?

I'm having Trouble exporting objects from Carrara intoBryce 4 and keeping my textures. Do you think this is a Carrara problem , a Bryce problem or more likely user error.

Do the T-Maps just not make it into Bryce when Importing? Clint

I made a real simple house with a texture for the roof and another for the walls. The walls are coming in with what appears to be no texture and the roof comes in with the wall texture. I tried importing the two seperate but then they have no texture. I'm currently working on a castle and so these were just test to see how the rendering would come out. Stace

Oh, Ouch...I havent done the Carrara to Bryce thing yet. That doesnt sound good. Can you go in and manualy re-apply the T-Maps properly to the house once inside Bryce? Clint

I Imported a sword from Carrara to Bryce with 3 different textures and I've had the same problem. Since Bryce has such a nice reputation with import/export, I'm pretty sure its at fault here again.

I was at least able to reaply the texture in Bryce. It seems like there will just have to be a few exta steps.
