Thanks.... um do you have showers on the beach? why? and the second one is really excellent, beautifully crafted, really useful, what is it?

TygerCub ( ) posted Sun, 11 August 2002 at 4:19 PM

The beach showers are used to help rinse off the sand and salt before leaving.

Magic?

Little_Dragon ( ) posted Sun, 11 August 2002 at 5:37 PM

Very cool. I'll have to try my hand at deforming some terrain, soon. Can you subdivide the mesh? It's somewhat angular.

item is a smoothly-contoured terrain... I can make 'em in any shape you'd like. (Made in Rhino, then sized and converted to .pp2)

Lee...I like it!! Your doing a fabulous job! I wish our beaches came with showers like that!! Our showers are just a rotten tap that only a midget can fit under! :( Can't wait to see more! Thank you SO much for sharing!!

lalverson ( ) posted Sun, 11 August 2002 at 7:33 PM

Well, I suppose I could just give up and downlod yours. or I can try again with higher poly mesh (Thanks L_D it does look smoother.)

Cool. Hey - would you like some nice sand for that beach? The local photo development guy thinks I'm weird.(duh?) He got a roll half of a goth party and half that should be titled "a texture painter at the beach" or "Look! Sand!" and "Look! more sand!" Aha. It's the UVmapperPro hieght distortion thingummy applied to a plane. Groovy :) Ya know - that's one useful little program :)
