Is there a way to make the inner parts of a torus lathed object to look less square? Thanks, Steve

Make a copy: Jump ino spline modler & re-start object from scratch. Go to "Geometry" & set surface fidelity to around 1200 or so. Next, "center selection". Now go to "extrusion/torus" & set at approx .75, this will give you a better object. Play around with the settings for fidelity & torus distance to axis & maby you can get better. Also, go to "back" view & try dragging the two control points up & down (closer/further) from axis center. What was happening in your last model was that the axis centerline (bottom line) was negativly multiplying over itself and not meeting at center.

P.S.- I don't mean to re-draw your cross section, go to "geometries" pull-down window & hilight "re-start object from scratch". This should maintain your original profile for the shape.
