I run a mush set in the 1920's and would like to illustrate a web page using Poser 4. I am in a grand quest for costumes and hair styles of the Roaring 1920's. Have any of you clothing and hair creators considered creating clothes from this period? A good page of costume resources I have up that could be used to get ideas from is at: http://cairo.silvren.com/~cairo/fashion/thumbs.htm

I'd love to see some of this stuff too... MUSH? I've heard the term but don't know what it means (MUD is Multi User Dungeon), I think.

What is a mush? It is much like a MUD, but stands for Multi User Shared Hallucination. We are located at cairo.silvern.com 1921 by telnet. We are a roleplaying virtual reality text based world :) Come by and join us. I am Bast there, the founder.

I have an old ladybird book showing some designs like this, which I thought where fantastic, but when I went to create them they looked awful on the Poser woman she is just the wrong shape for this style of clothing if someone could get someone to morph a figure to a slimmer flatter chested shape I would love to create some clothing and I'll bet loads Rena will love to texture them :o)........Steve

Hmm. Or maybe one of our modellers could put together a Gibson Girl Posette?

I love those costumes...and yes, I can make some sketches for steve to do the modelling in a way that will work in poser (seems like our software is not very fond of some shapes when it comes to posing..) As for the textures..I'd give an arm to work on such items and a character morph to fit the ladies face of that era won't be any trouble. That one should be made first, before the clothes, as the waist of the figure definately needs to get resized to get the correct shape! :o) renapd

When I get home tonight from work, I will post my three roaring 20's figure. The faces and some areas are subject to tweeking still, but I am quite pleased with the boyish flat chested flat hipped look thus far, maybe they can help. These are part of the Northeast African Cairo series of models I am working on, set in the roaring 20's.
