Subject: Captured Moments: Schlabber's DAZ Pose CD

Schlabber is the King of Poses in my opinion. I've been looking around for some more poses, and just couldn't ignore the incredible value of this collection. My first impulse is "I want it now, I don't want to wait for DAZ to ship a CD." I know this will be worth the wait. Does anyone else have the Captured Moments CD? Can you show me some examples of work created with this pose set? Help keep me entertained while I wait impatiently for the mail to arrive. Thanks.

I don't have Schlabber's DAZ Pose CD but I do have his 'In the Blink of an Eye' CD and its fabulous. You really can't go wrong with poses by Schlabber. He's not called the 'Pose King' for nuthin'. ;)

Hi Ron, well - I have this CD and - well, I like it (giggle)- I hope you have the CD in the meantime :o) jade_nyc - thx for the flowers (a german saying). And - uhm - I'm not a king (unfortunately). I would have pointed you to the online-database but - well - advertisement is not allowed in this forum (smile). Happy posing Schlabber

Schlabber, I checked out the online database, and that helped make up my mind. By the way, look at some of the forum messages... Advertising is done all the time. People do resort to some "cute" methods of doing the advertising, and frankly I have no objections. I do believe that an answer to a question should be appropriate. I downloaded the program you use for your database (free)... It looks great. I just haven't had time to try it.

The database is exactly for the reason someone can look BEFORE he/she buys - that's only fair and I think a lot of people should take more care for his or her customers - it's only fair ... and it cuts down the risk of unsatisfied buyers (when I sell something I WANT the buyer be happy with the product - for some vendors I think it's only making money - that's something that's not good for all the rest of the vendors) Yes - it's right - advertisement is done all the time - and I think it's really bad - even in the free stuff section you can find a lot of advertisement. Example: Recently found a Lamborghini Spoiler for free (for the Lamborghini - prop you can buy for blah) with a link to this prop. For myself this is a step to far ... Of course I also sell products but I try to keep this products as a real good deal (you saw the database and you can imagine that's not the work of one afternoon - even for me as I do poses in approx. 10 mins per combined pose). Even at the risk someone would not notice the amount of poses he can sell from me (or DAZ) or get for free at my site I'll not advertise here. I think that such posts belong also in that forum (maybe with a biiig advertisement-symbol beside the post-topic) but I don't set the guidelines for this forum and so I'll stay at the rules. I think in a month or so I'll have a bigger upgrade for my site ready but in fact I'm pretty unsure to mention it somewhere here - but well - if anotherone does it - OK ... lol.

My friend, in my mind, and I believe in others, the name Schlabber is a great advertisement by itself. You know my web site(s) go a long way to let others know about many fine Poser products. I'll eventually find a way to toss some free advertising your way. Every little bit helps, right?!

Schlabber ( ) posted Tue, 13 August 2002 at 10:53 AM

LOL - you mean Schlabber is allready a trademark ?? Then you would be surprised in a while (sorry, I'm not allowed to speak about it in more detail - lol). Well, advertisement is never wrong - and as I'm convinced about my products I can't say anything against it (smile).

A few months ago, my web site had a section entitled "Poser Resources." I abandoned that idea awhile ago. Now I'm working on an idea similar to that one. I do believe many if not most Poser users know your name. I just like to feature such great stuff on my site(s). I'm knee-deep in working on that site now, so my mind is even more muddled than usual. Thanks again for all your wonderful free and commercial stuff. PS, you won't see the new version of my "Ron's Poser World" site yet. I intend to get this done before publishing. Well then again, you never know. ![Message671422.jpg](http://www.renderosity.com/photos/Message671422.jpg)
