doruksal has asked me to post my most recent 2D image here in the photography forum as well, so err..., uhh..., here it is. Beware though that I dont consider myself to be a photographer; I mostly use my camera to get the textures, skies and characters for my Bryce images. This is the first time I posted an actual photo (sort of), so suggestions for improvement are appreciated (songs of praise are welcome too, *grin*) As for the technicalities, the basis for this image were 2 digital photographs, where the second mostly served to remove a few anachronisms from the first. They were taken from slightly different angles with a Olympus E10, 80 ISO, f/8, using the built-in flash to accentuate the smoke from the fire place. The composite image was gray-scaled in Photoshop, cropped and rescaled to 2200 by 2800 pixels. Then, a few white spot lights were added in Painter to get a more lively light effect.. Back in Photoshop the image was duotoned and finally the watercolour and dry brush filters were applied with opacities of 30% and 80%, respectively. For me this some sort of an experiment, but if you like this, I think I have enough raw material to make one or two more. And one more thing, the ladies are preparing hard-boiled eggs in mustard sauce. Dont try this at home; it tastes like shit, really ;-)http://www.roobol.be
