For the last hour or so I've not had any ebot emails from rosity, I've posted in that time too & had replies so I should have had the ebots but nothing, I've had ebots from other sites in that time so it's probably not me. What's happening guys/girls? Rob

see I didn't get 1 for this either :) had to come back to check, how inconvenient it is having to come back just to see if someone answered this, lol, the rosity guys/girls are too good to us, making us lazy with all the wonderful extras they keep packing into the site. Rob

....yup....still ever snoring ebot....I never got these replies either...suppose even ebot needs a rest...hehehe ;-) ....maybe ebot don't do windows...now...either...? ....maybe ebot needs a raise after all...?...maybe ebot is working too long and too hard and not enough pay...LOL

well whatever was causing it, looks like it's been fixed, emails started coming through again just now :)

I think they were coming thu on the gallery but not the forum. Not so damn many of them, though... >:| ... :)

I have this all the time... I hardly get anymail from the bot.... even when the topic has had say 5 replies since I posted, I get zippo.. nada.. not a bean.. etc

Kaibach The Ebot is configured to only notify you once between visits. If a thread has 1 or 100 posts, you still only get one Ebot until you visit the thread again and reset it. I think there's a setting in your profile to turn them off entirely, also, so you might want to look there if you're concerned about it. btw I had the same problem for several hours last night - I was following a thread fairly closely all evening, posting 3 or 4 times, along with several other members. Never got a single Ebot from that thread all evening. Don't recall if I got any others, though.

I know what you mean.. (I know the idea from 3DG ;)) but there are days when I get nothing at all.. case in point, a thread I checked in the tS forum, left it 3 days after posting in it, went back and found 4 replies.. no emails recieved here about any replies..

I must be one of the few people that hates that thing then. Even though I have it set to NOT send by default, I still have to uncheck it in every message. I come here so frequently and check my email so infrequently that the ebot annoys me more than helps me. :)

I don't think their mail server is running, thus the ebot can't send it's mail. It's giving the error message 'Mail server not active' or something like that when one posts a comment in the galleries. I assume that it's the same mail server that also does the other ebot functions...It's probably all part of the server upgrades that are still in progress...

A couple didn't come through from the galleries earlier. Oh well. Never mind.

okaaay.. I did'nt get any mail about the last 4 entries on this thread LOL
