LOL, you are really going to like this software, you should also, when you get a chance upgrade your copy to 4.1 from e-ons site. Boy are you in for a ball of a time, really gonna love it. Sharen PS: secret handshake is most widely used now...LOL...we just added that you have to have a big smile on while you do the handshake...
Welcome BigGoat. Our initiatin is very simple: 1. Empty your fridg and your freezer. 2.Go to your groocer and buy lots of drinks, water, vine, whiskey 3. Put every thing near to your computer (you will not need a fork or a knive) 3. Sit in front of your computer, hang out the phone and start to install Vue. See you soon then:-) Guitta
It's too late for you, now. Here's what you choose : - When in conversation with your friends and family, you'll start to place some strange words like 'Volumetric Light', 'Render Settings', 'Procedural textures'... - You'll not be able to look at a romantic sunrize without thinking that if it was you, you'll add a spotlight on the left tree... - You'll spend your time to study your leather armchair trying to make a good looking leather texture in material editor while your wife/husband will think you're going crazy... - You'll start to sacrifice bowls of tapioca in front of your PC hoping that it will speed up the rendering of your scene... - You'll soon break the dreams of a newbie that will look at you pictures thinking "I'll never be able to do that"... - Finally, you'll start to send funny stupid messages like the one that I'm writing for welcoming newbies... Sorry that no-one warned you before... ;-) Argentium Thri'ile
I've been a 'lurker' so long, i've forgotten how nice it is to join in on something. I know most of you already by your artwork. Spent days looking at gebes renders, and have cried on Sharens shoulder. I Recognize a poser user or two also. I won't post renders of nekkid ladies in temples, but as soon as I can create something coherent i'll be posting it and asking for help. I've read every post and taken lots of notes, so i'll be sure to ask questions no one has thought of yet, LOL. Thanks again for making me feel at home.

Vue 4.0 just arrived! Now can I join your club?
I'm hoping there's a secret handshake or initiation, LOL!
I must thank you all for your renders - they gave me the inspiration to save my pennies for this wonderful day.
