Is bondage accepted in here? and where can i foind the Terms of Use? i can`t find them again

Bondage..........oh my, er........ummm............woohoo!! I, ahhh.........well now..................bondage you say? Tastefull bondage, or like heavy duty far-out erotic to the core kinda bondage? If your image(s) of bondage do not qualify as 'acceptable', for one reason or another, you might try Renderotica.com. But I believe if your images are 'tasteful' then you should have no problem. If they venture into pornography, then perhaps it would be best if you tried another place, such as Renderotica.com. Hey, I'm all for freedom of speach and expression, so long as it does not become hurtfull.

Does Bondage count as torture?

Not neccesarily, but Renderosity (just my impression) is more of a "PG-13" site, somewhere most parents wouldn't object to older kids going. Renderotica is restricted to 18 and older, an "adult" site.

I dunno, I can see where "bondage" could be acceptable here in the following circumstance: the image is set in a basement or warehouse and our hero/ine is tied to a chair whilst a couple of goons in black suits and white ties debate amongst themselves what to do with our intrepid reporter/undercover cop/superhero's girl/boyfriend, etc. while the aforementioned "bondee" is secretly using the laser/penknife/swiss army watch to sever the ropes and escape. You know, typical James Bond/Indiana Jones/Lois Lane type stuff. g

Even if it passes the letter of the TOS, I wouldn't be surprised if you got some negative comments. Either Renderotica or thralldom.org would be sites where it'd be welcomed.

didn't one of eowynn's or swanni's get bounced out of the gallery because it was a lighthearted bondage one?...remember, he had duct taped his wife's mouth in the picture. i think it would be best just to take it over to renderotica in the first place.

Good point Kate, no problem tieing (sp?) someone up, but if it was the least bit sexual, I'd take it elsewhere.

Probably would be a good idea to post erotic type bondage images elswhere. If you're determined to post here, I'd suggest waving the image past a moderator first, just to make sure it's okay. If it's just bondage and not torture it's not against the TOS per se, but you may get a less than positive reaction in the galleries here. Thralldom and Renderotica are good places to post that sort of thing. Thralldom is more hardcore. Lyrra

I remember the picture. The problem was, the wife looked terrified, not annoyed, so the picture seemed more like torture than a joke or scolding. If you're not sure if a picture is acceptable, you can IM an admin and ask to send the picture for review. We've had a few people do that to make sure there's no TOS violations.

The TOS here are fairly generous and there are a lot of pictures one could make which, while not technically infringing the TOS in any way, nevertheless would be quite inappropriate for this site. Speaking as one frequently seen at the two sites mentioned above, I think it is better to follow the spirit of the Renderosity TOS rather than the letter. I incline to disagree with Lyrra about the relative merits of those two sites. Renderotica is more varied in content and quality.
