Subject: Poser setup question

I have poser set to launch to prefered state and set the workspace up the way I like it. It has worked fine for a long time, now all of a sudden every time I open Poser it jumbles all my tools around. I tried several times to put them back and then set the prefered state again however it doesnt seem to take. Any suggestions?

Same as on mine. Prefered state seems to only affect the size and content of the main window, not the location of tools. They fell short on this one. As far as I know, we're stuck like this.

best you can do is set it all up how you want then save it to one of the UI dots, then you only have to click on the dot to get it back how you want. Rob

1)Arrange work area 2)Edit>General Preferences> check "Launch to Perfered state" & "use previous state" Then click "set preferred state" It works for me.

Make sure you check "use previous state"

Am I answering the right question? or are you talking about something else?

Sometimes set preferred state doesn't work. The fix is strange, but worth a try... Poser can't find the "preferred state" when it starts up. Right click on the Poser icon which you use to start the app and select "properties". Write the correct path to your Poser folder in the "Start in" edit box. Your done. Should work. H:)

Thanks for all the suggestions, I tried them all. The UI dot works fine but I knew it worked before without having to click it each time. The fix came when I typed the poser path into the properties of the shortcut. Thanks again for all the responses.
