Subject: help, poser is mad at me !!!

Hi, Since today, each rendering is down twice !!! Any idea before I reinstall all the stuff ? Poser4+Xp Laurent

what does it mean when a render is down? what are it's symptoms?

ooops, i mean render is done twice... sorry I do 1 rendering, the image is done and the little popup with the "runing man" appears once again and the rendering start again.

problem no more reproductible. I don't know what was wrong cause i reboot the Pc several time... Laurent

This is a wild idea, because I think it happened to me sometimes. Maybe your computer is a bit overtaxed by all the stuff it's trying to do. Maybe you have a really involved scene, lots of characters, or some detailed textures. Maybe your computer doesn't seem to be responding, so you hit the render command a second time? Or maybe your computer is just going whacko for a moment. I suggest you end Poser, reboot your computer, then try again.

i did several time without success and now the problem is solved. I've absolutly no clue about that. Thanks all LAurent

The only time I ever saw that on my system was when my keyboard was acting up... it would occasionally repeat keypresses. I cleaned out the keyboard, and all was well.

Could be your mouse... mine is acting up at the moment and often does multiple clicks - I think the poor thing is worn out. Jack

I have definately had a similar problem also... I had accidentally set something odd in the offending pz3. Can't remember what it was, though! Every time I loaded the pz3 it would render over and over. I eventually hacked the pz3 and fixed it... H:)
