Heya Poser freaks and freakettes! I feel a little backward posting this so close behind kupa's latest revelation, but I just got confirmation that we can now officially announce that the Renderosity Magazine, in cooperation with Runtime DNA and Curious Labs will be offering a full review of Poser 5 complete with detailed explanation of new features, plans for the future, interviews with Steve Cooper and Syyd Raven, content directory, copyrights questions and answers, screens of all major features and additions, and more! I'll of course be talking more about this spread when I'm given proper authorization to do so, but for now, I'll have to leave you folks with this basic teaser, and encouragement to go order your Issue 3 now! Link is to the Magazine Forum where I'll be updating the info as I'm allowed! Special thanks are owed to Steve Cooper ( kupa ), Syyd Raven ( Syyd ), Liz Cook ( Mehndi ), Windy Strutz ( Blooddoll ), Kiera Wooley ( Kiera ), and our layout and coordination editor, audre! Follow the link for more detailed info on what to expect from our magazine next! Cheers! Paul Jenkins, a.k.a. Entropic

Wow..yah..that article SHOULD be good.. Considering that I was assisting Windy ( BloodDoll ) in her official capacity for Renderosity and I was the one doing most of the interviewing and photography. Sadly the photography for the most part was ruined on the way home in an Xray machine . It was a great trip, and I can't wait until the article is out! Then I can talk about it ! I'm highly dissapointed to find out that I am NOT going to be officially recognized for the work I did on this article even though I was told before I went that I WOULD be recognized and listed as one of the interviewers on this project! gee, Thanks guys :P Mtncub

Cubby; I meant to include you in the list of thanks. I just want to say that there are many people who were involved in this project, and if I were to list everyone, it would take a separate magazine. I appreciate your help and assistance, and want you to know that there is no slight intended to the efforts you provided. This was my decision, so if there is some hard feeling, you are more than welcome to take it up with me in a private conversation. Again, there was no intention to slight you or your efforts, but I have been incredibly busy lately, so if I am brief or unclear, please take it up with me in a more suitable environment. Thanks again. ;) Paul Jenkins a.k.a. "Entropic"

We're all stuck in that "can't wait to tell" position, Stephen, so I can sure relate... If I had a dime for every time I've wanted to say something and couldn't, I'd be able to afford Poser 5. ;) Paul As a side note: Another huge thank you to Steve Cooper for letting our team play with his toys for a weekend. I'm sure I speak for everyone on the team when I say that you are not only a terrific software producer, but a terrific guy! Love those photos of the Poser boxes! =)

Will copies of the magazine (current and back issues) be available at DragonCon?

Entropic ( ) posted Tue, 20 August 2002 at 7:39 PM

As far as I know, Issue 3 is scheduled for release AT DragonCon, as well as at Barnes & Nobles. As for issues 1 & 2, I'm not sure. If you want to direct a query to audre@renderosity.com, she'll be able to give you a direct answer. This issue will be sold at DragonCon so far as I know though. It went to press today. Paul

All's I have to say is that it was an awsome experience, and despite the many downfalls of the trip, Steve more than made up for it all :) To hell with Eris today, All Hale Kupa!
