Subject: Shadows in Poser Pro?

Have a Problem with rendering Shadows in Poser Pro. In the Preview the Shadows are visible, but not in the Final Rendering. Of course I can add a Ground Prop, but I want to use the Final Image for Compositing with an Alpha Mask. Think i make something wrong, so it will be nice, if someone can help me,thanks.

In the Render Options Dialog box (Ctrl-Y) make sure "Cast Shadows" is checked. Same goes for your lights and objects' properties boxes. The shadow you see in preview is just an aid for posing, it has nothing to do with rendering.

You'll need to add the ground prop (or some other prop) if you want ground shadows; you need something for the shadows to fall on. Unfortunately, this means you'll have a solid object in the render, blocking the alpha mask. You can fiddle with the prop's transparency values, but there really isn't much you can do about this. An alternative is to make the ground some vivid colour and use chromakey masking.
