Subject: DiVX 3.11 and WinXP

I have been spending the last few weeks slowly setting up a new system and transferring projects from the previous Win98 system to the new WinXP. One question that seems to nag me is whether there are any known issues with DiVX 3.11 and WinXP. I would think not, but you know how it feels when you just can't shake that feeling that there is some little gremlin just waiting to unleash havoc? While at it, what is your favorite codec after you've finished rendering and editing? I am sure most always create in uncompressed for editing, but what codec do you use for use over the net? Divx 3.11? 4? 5? MPEG4? Etc, etc... I hope this makes sense. I've been working on a project for almost 36 straight hours and I'm starting to have hallucinations... or maybe theyre spiritual visions, I don't know. I posted here rather than the 2D/3D Animation group since most of my recent work seems to be in Poser and/or Vue. I would appreciate your opinions, advice, anecdotes, legacies, cash donations, etc. Take care and be well. casamerica

I've got DivX;-) 4.1 (MPEG-4) installed for media player, as well as "the playa" + codec 5.02 (from divx.com) make sure you download the version without spyware, it's listed seperatley, the pro version comes with spyware by default. Oh, and never play poker with women with tattoos... :P later jb
