I see it in the camera pram dials but can't seem to find any ref in the manuals - running pro-pack if that makes a difference Thanks all

If the hither value is x, in the ordinary posing view (not in a render) you can't see anything which is nearer than x units from the camera. This is so you can see behind things when posing.
