Hi all! Been a while since I posted in here... Just wanted to share a cupla pics =) These are basically the first pictures I tried to take 'properly' when I started photography a coupla years ago. Done for a texture porject with Ilford XP2, I was wondering if anyone could tell me what to do to improve them, or just what you think... Thanks! Love Cat xXxXx

I dunno. Personally I like the bottom one best. I guess the best thing to imporve the bottom picture is to increase the contrast on the lower left of the bark section of the picture. I think it's highlights are being "blownout". Baybe you could clone the stuff from the top left to the bottom right. That way one will retain a balance through the picture. BUt I could be wrong. The top picture.... I'm not sure what I'm looking at. It may be too dark. Does the Ilford paper make things green? Can you convert the top picture to b/w or greyscale? Bsteph

One thing I like to do is explore any of my images that I think just don't seem to work the way I wanted them to. Often I search for an image inside an image. In this case, I think there are some options. In both cases All I've done is recrop the images to give them a different feel. Here are the vines recropped.

And for the other image - perhaps an abstract.
