I'm wanna cry....my baby, my beautiful Dimage 7....the lens is literally falling apart...it took a tumble last night... I have no hopes that this can be repaired although I'm going to look into it, but it may be ages before I can afford another digital....

Hang in there Michelle... but man, I dunno what I'd do if my 6900 broke. Can only imagine how you must feel - in some ways, worse than losing a friend. I'll pray to the pixel gods for you...

OMG! Sounds like a mess and sounds expensive :O( Hope you get up and running soon. You will start getting bad symptoms if you stop snapping. :O)

super glue? Have you considered gluing the lense back togeather THEN scraping the glue off the lense using a razor blade? Really what happened to it beside the lense is falling apart? and how is the lense falling apart? Bsteph

Ohh...guys thanks...I like the home owners policy idea i'll have to ask about that....I'm not completely without a camera I do have a couple of slr bodies but my Dimage is my best friend...I literally have that thing with me everywhere I go. Superglue?!?....uh no way... :~) I've called Minolta, I just have to pack it up and call UPS to ship it out...of course my warranty is invalid, because I admitted to them that I dropped it....ugghhh...
