Actually this is not so much a work in progress, any more as I am happy with the results of the source image(posted elsewhere). I was just playing around, trying to come up with ideas for camera and light filters to use in Poser, and have recently been abusing Ashlocks water prop beyond the scope for which it was intended. I turned it on end, used some colored textures and transparancy setting and came up with this effect. Thought it not half bad, curious what others had to say. The curtain, no that is not a rainbow, that is a curtain, just like Mom had in the living room way back when - and when the light would shine through it, it lit up the room much in the same way as in the pic. Hope you enjoy. I don't have Bryce, and Vue, and some of these others programs that I understand you can do neat effects in. Put don't sell Poser short, either, some neat effects are possible. Rob

What I started to say before I interrupted my self was that the curtain is the cloth prop from free stuff with PhilC rainbow texture. The rest of the image was credited elsewhere.

NICE. I'm not 100% certain about the curtain, I feel it needs to be further into the picture (more of it showing) - but (as I always stress) that's just my opinion. But, the lighting in this picture is excellent - even moreso since it's a pure P4 render. It really does make a massive difference to the picture. Very well done indeed Paul

A very nice piece of work, well executed.

Thanks guys, PhilC, I've seen a lot of your work and know how good it is so a complement from you can make a guy's head swell. Hopefully not too big. Paul, I've only seen your, Ghost Buster, but based on that alone, I'd have to say ditto! What a great image. I really like the detail of the poser dude-priest. As for moving the curtain further in, I'll do it and see what happens. You have given me a lot of great help and advice - dating way back to when I posted the early version of this image - and have never steered me wrong. So your opinion to me is as valuable as some other folks facts. Rob

Thanks Allerleirauh, Got one you would like to share? I've have been going through, trying just about everything I can find, on my hard drive, that might work - even as I type - but nothing yet! The best I have done thus far is rough up the surface a bit more with a bump map. Many thanks for the comment. Rob
