Poser comes with some nice basic primatives (ie. a ball, a cube, a cone,etc) Which come in quite handy for simple props. But the other day I found in the freebie section some more primatives such as a morphing ring, and pyrimid and such, and thought what a wonderful idea. I know personally I am not a modeler, and do not have acess to a modeling program. But if anyone would have the time to put together a pack of extra primatives for use in poser, I know i for one would be very greatful (and I am sure others might as well). Things like a Triangle, disk/circle, semi-circle, cresent, shield and things like that...or even more ambitious things like bent cylinders at various angles, and arches. Anyway, you get my idea. If anyone has the time to put such a pack together, I know i would love it :) Rawn

I think I've seen such a pack somewhere once. Not sure where though. I could easily make you some primitives if wanted. Anything specific you would like? Or just a widespread collection? Also should they morph or not?

I can't use any of the modeling programs, but using primatives I am able to make a nice prop. Here is my latest one. A lamp and shade:

Also, Rawn, you might want to check out 3d Shape magic. It is a $10.00 that makes great simple models with a few clicks of your mouse. Here is another prop I just made from primatives...a quilt rack for MacLean's wonderful free morphing Quilt.

As cooler said, I have 3 sets of primitives at 3D Commune, called Prop-o-rama, basically collections of weird and wonderful shapes that poser doesn't give you. My next pack will be called Morph-o-rama and will be a set of morphing primitives. Problem is, I have no idea when it will be ready. mac

mac I think we're becoming interchangeable parts... I've had to correct the credits on several pics where I was mistakenly credited with making some of your stuff :-) P.S. the morphing quilt is one of mine (in fact the pattern shown is recreated from my sons baby blanket :-)
