Just curious about the different methods people use to create their own textures for the Millenium People and the like. I know some people take photos and play with them, and some paint them straight from scratch. Any opinions on what's the best and/or easiest?

Okay, my opinion won't help, but here goes, what is the best, both, what is the easiest, neither. Just depends on your ability. Sorry, not any help at all. Sharen :-)

I tend to agree with SAMS3d :) . If you look in the marketplace, many people tend to make them from photos, with a lot of success. You'll also find many people that make them by hand, with just as much success. It depends on where your skills are, and how much time you want to spend.

I tend to use a mixture of both, and often use photos for references
