I have posted the Indian-Chief Headset to the freestuff-section. The ZIP-File is 1,9Mb , sorry couldn't do it smaller. OK, thats the good news. The bad news, the Object-File is 9 Mb ! Included is the Object-File, the texture and the texture-template. Maybee i would see some images with it. I can't make images because: 1. I'm not a good image-composer 2. My graphic-card has only 4megs and i have only 48megs of RAM-Workspace. I was interested about your comments. SHARKEY

Does anybody knows where i can find some morphs to create an american-native man. Especially for the nose- and chin-section. Or could do someone this morphs. SHARKEY

Wow Sharkey this ist really great! did you think of transparent maps for the feathers? maybe i will try this when i've got some time I'll let you know!

robert.sharkey ( ) posted Tue, 14 March 2000 at 5:55 PM

Transparency at the feathers would be fine, but i work with poser 3 and could not use this. If you create a transmap, i would be happy to place it in the zip-file and give you the credit in the readme. SHARKEY

heya; great, sharkey, thanks! www.capsces.com i know has a protomorph man, i believe it is called, for sale. it makes a lot of ethnic and different faces, including native american.

Thanks Bloodsong, would check it out. Somebody sayd that female american-natives doesn't wear such headgears, i think thats correct. Thats the point why i need these morphs. I'm thinking about to create a more female-like headset. SHARKEY

Thank you Robert. It's just what I wanted!

wyrwulf ( ) posted Tue, 14 March 2000 at 7:49 PM

Very good job, Robert. It looks quite authentic. Everyone is right, though. A woman would not wear this. It would be worn by a warrior that had fought many battles and earned every feather in the head-dress. Someone of that status would be a chief of some sort. Many tribes had different chiefs for different things. I have also seen longer "tails" of feathers down the back that touch the ground, and even longer. I look forward to using this wonderful prop, both in pictures, and as a learning tool. Thanks for the work you do.

Fantastic work Sharky.

MadRed ( ) posted Tue, 14 March 2000 at 9:33 PM

Kudos. (Big ones!) I just DLed it, so I only have a quick test-study. I put it on the Plains Indian (available elsewhere, I forget where exactly) and a tweak or two later ... Great! When I have a good finished scene I will post it.

Sharkey, I have both the P3 indian characters that were on funstuff a while back so this head dress will make for some excellent pictures that have been waiting in idea limbo for a long time. Thankyou very much for making a great prop :) Regards Eshal

Ok, let's see, an indian chief, a cop, a construction worker.... hmmm, anyone seen a sailor figure? :-) Seriously, really nice piece Robert.

robert.sharkey ( ) posted Thu, 16 March 2000 at 5:49 AM

Sailor, hears fine. I where be happy to see a sailor in this condition: US-Marine-corps Sergeant in honour Blue-Dress. What do you mean. SHARKEY

CharlieBrown ( ) posted Thu, 16 March 2000 at 1:24 PM

Sailor? Well, the Zygote Costume Shop has some appropriate props - but do we REALLY need the Village People on this forum? :-)

Nance ( ) posted Thu, 16 March 2000 at 5:35 PM

... did we ever really need them anywhere? (glad someone got it, I was beginning to feel like a geep after Robert's serious reply.)
