I'm not too keen on it, it takes up too much room. I don't really like scrolling down half a page every time I want to read a thread. Just my take on it.

Hey raven...get one of those wheel mouse. Its better than squiming (sp?) your eyes...or perhaps set your monitor to 1152x864 res if it permits.

Thanks, I'm happy you like (and can see) it. The header is big raven, because I had to put many things in it. But from November on it will become again it's "normal" size - with big fonts though:-) Guitta

Do you realize, Guitta, that at least of the annex pages still says it's moderated by MikeJ and Varian? No biggy, just thought you might want to know... BTW: Thanks so much for the change in font size. My nose was getting flat from being pushed against the screen! :)

tesign, I have a wheel mouse, still have to scroll down though :) My res is at 1152x864, and my viewable window in IE is 937x658. I make sure I can see all of an 800x600 pic without scrolling. I don't like to go full screen in IE, as I like easy access to folders at the bottom of my screen. Guitta, OK, I'll suffer for a few months :) One thing, we're in the Vue forum, so couldn't the links just say tutorials, cool & groovy stuff, gallery and freestuff?

Sorry raven. We have each month a challenge and a challenge winner that we want to announce in the header too:-). Now about the presently size of it. I have personally written to the above sponsors to get these prices for our contest. In exchange ther icons have a right to sit in the header for a determined time. After the contests, I could try to make the header a little larger but less high if this is convenient for all of you. :-)Guitta

Guitta, I didn't mean all the links, I appreciate the sponsors icons. I just meant at the bottom where it says Vue d'Esprit tutorials, Vue d'Esprit freestuff etc. It's pretty obvious that they'd link to the respective Vue areas.
