Here is my entry into the August challenge contest. I've been a Renderosity member since before it was Renderosity but have never posted any art until now. I decided to do a vertical orientation since it seemed more appropriate to the subject than landscape.

The image is the bottom of an abysmal rift with a crevasse in the rock spewing forth minerals and heated water. The tube worms growing about it gorge themselves on the luminescent mixture.
