I can't decide how to finish my Deanna Troi character. I used some magnets to do the face. If i saved each one of them as single MT:s it didn't look right when i loaded them back so i stored the Deanna face as a single MT and loaded it into the figure. Now the problem: If i use the standard P4NW as the base geometry i can't use mags to give her some face expressions. (same reason as above...) And if i create a new obj-file no other MT can be applied without a very strange look of miss Troi. (Belive me, i've tried) Are you people in a very deep need for Deanna faces or shall i post her without these? I haven't got much time the last week so there is no dress ready yet either. /Ohman

heya; save ALL the magnets as ONE morph target. oh you did. so now why won't the standard facial expressions work? post it like that, with the one deanna morph, and if its a bit screwy, i'm sure somebody can fix it. :)

Certainly, this is one of the best character liknesses I've seen in the last couple of years, keep it up.

Thank you everybody, looks like i've succeded. (he he) Bloodsong: The standard facial expressions works with no problem, but i wanted to take her a step further and customize three or four expressions. Her smilefor example is very characteristic. Da Ferret did this with his Picard and it makes the figure much more "real". OK then! I will stop messing around with her now and post her as soon as i can. (Will probably be pretty big) /Jorgen Ohman

That is absolutely stunning - one of the best character-likenesses I've seen in quite a while. Excellent work Jorgen. Paul

The problem is that the MagZones has to be really small when working with faces. When i set he Deanna face to zero it displaces the face so much that the mags affects the face in a different way. /Ohman

Krel ( ) posted Fri, 17 March 2000 at 6:30 AM

That should be OK though because when combined with the original face morph the magnet effects should come back to how you want them......this is a great face, kudos to you...and one of my favorite females...... Krel

You could just post what you have and let us all take a crack at solving the problems.
