i just finished updating my site and would like to welcome visitors. All of my old free stuff is up there (look under Resources - there is a link to my free stuff there). I also have a feedback form for commentary and for people to suggest sites to add to either Cool Sites or Resources.

Thanks CB... Sprout- see what doing lot of sleepless nights does? And I really want input from people - use the feedback. i am opening up more time to do things over the next 6 months, but if left to my own devices you'll just see more of the same old stuff - give me some ideas to play with. It's thanks to being challenged by some requests that my work has gotten this far. My web building skills and graphics have grown thanks to people planting seeds... keep it up and I can deliver more of what people want.

If you want challenges... I guess most of you people have seen/used the Kykohair that comes with the Nene4 character. It is a great hair and i've been using it in almost everything i do for months now. The problem is that if i use another hair in the same scene it looks even more as a helmet when compared to something as close to real hair as the Kykohair :o( The key is good texturing, but since i am an idiot when it comes to texturing I would be dancing around my apartment for hours if i could find just ONE more hair of this quality. Someone??? /Ohman

CharlieBrown ( ) posted Wed, 15 March 2000 at 2:18 PM

Have you tried using the textures from the Kyko hair on other models? Or maybe pasting it over the templates for other hair?

ohman ( ) posted Wed, 15 March 2000 at 2:24 PM

Oh yes! It's kind of strange. I have used Photoshop very much for several years. (Even at work) I can do almost whatever i want when post-processing, color matching, and stuff like that. But when it comes to creating i can't do anything i am pleased with. By the way: Has anyone ever succeded in making a texture with Painter3D that comes with P4?? That program drives me crazy |-@ /Ohman

CharlieBrown ( ) posted Wed, 15 March 2000 at 2:30 PM

I've used Painter3D to mark locations on a template to place elements for decoration. So far, it seems to be similar to the Grouping Tool in its operation; i.e., mostly erratic unless you're very patient, very careful, or both.

Painter 3D.. got the editions that came with RDS and Poser... U.O.T.L. (used once, then lost) But using it as a marker is a good idea! Now I can mark where the tan lines should line up!

I was on your site, looks good and is realy fast. I like especially the female face-morphs. You need some ideas, there they are: Think about your URL (****.com) you live in USA, why not think about what we europeans think if we hear America: - Baseball, sorry mean basebal-jacket - Superbowle, complet armor and clothing - McDonalds, clothing and food - Highways, Streetsigns etc. - Harley Davidson - Surfing Hope could give you some ideas. SHARKEY

Ikyoto ( ) posted Wed, 15 March 2000 at 3:14 PM

hmmmm... pure Americana type props? Hell, there are pleanty of guns so that's out... maybe some junk food and road signs.

CharlieBrown ( ) posted Wed, 15 March 2000 at 3:25 PM

If you're looking for "Americana props" you might just want to swing by a neighborhood "TGIFridays" (or even a "Ruby Tuesday," but they're usually smaller) and photograph the walls for inspiration... They have TONS of junk there!

Ikyoto ( ) posted Wed, 15 March 2000 at 3:42 PM

yeah - some of it's food from the last person who sat there... what we really need is an old fashioned 60's diner. I think I have a long term project again...

Merlin ( ) posted Wed, 15 March 2000 at 4:04 PM

Want new ideas ? Ok, but not easy then :) Medieval japanese armor Babylonian outfit + hair and beard Frankish warrior outfit (round helmet, chainmail, overcoat, triangular shield...) XIXth century man's costume (see the movie Dracula for inspiration ;)) Scottish traditional costume (old style, like William Wallace) I can get more ideas if you want ;P Merlin

Looks good, Ikyoto!

Ikyoto ( ) posted Wed, 15 March 2000 at 9:30 PM

Thanks guys. I'll be making some stuff and adding a few nes faces, but first I have to finish the new set of martialarts poses and the rest of the Zygote Gremlin morphs. THEN it's on to making the diner - kind of like the bar, but this is where you can take the kids...

Marybeth ( ) posted Thu, 16 March 2000 at 5:32 PM

Very nice work on the site and thanks for sharing your items! Are you serious about the diner? Marybeth

Ikyoto ( ) posted Thu, 16 March 2000 at 6:09 PM

Yup - but it will take time. I miss the old fasioned stools - silver looking crome and the red cusions that you could spin around on for what seemed like hours... the booths wiht the mini-juke boxes that I never had enough nickles for... and the glass sided counter top displays for the pies that just sat there DARING you to try and finish your lunch so your mother would buy one slice of pie for your very own...
